Yep, here is my little one playing with the tv remote. What's the facination with remote controls? After taking just a couple of seconds to take this picture, baby Einstein here discovered a game channel I had no idea existed!

Yet another person with which to fight for the remote control with. Damn it!!

Dressed to kill in his little red speedos (from his Godpa), jordan was enjoying his swim at Aunty Eda and Uncle Andrew's pool. Here are some pictures of our little boy enjoying himself...leaning back, sucking his thumb, tanning his chubby little bod and clearly enjoying all the attention he was getting from all the curious onlookers at the pool.

And the perfect ending to an already perfect day was when Andrew and the hubby cooked the girls dinner! And not just instant noodles either, but pasta! with wine!! What a guy!!

don't be fooled by his cheeky toothless grin, the boy has attitude! he refuses to sit in his high chair and when he is made to, he makes damn sure that you know who is the boss!

but all is forgiven when he rewards you with a smile.

Cos of all the yoga and pilates i was doing whilst i was preggers, my son is now a little yoga master. here he is, showing off his skills in the bath.

Oops, forgot to completely wrap him up. his daddy insisted that we protect his modesty. don't want to have to send him for counselling later on in life, right??!!

We got all dressed up last night to meet jordan's new girlfriend baby gayle, but she was a snob and slept the whole time we were there! poor baby, he felt so rejected!!!

A new enclosure?

Jordan loves his new jail cell, i mean play pen. with his new found skill of rolling onto his tummy, he can now roll around his play pen without me worrying that he is going to roll off the matress and onto the tiles and then under the sofa, where only max and maggie (the cats) can reach him.

also, the cats love peeping through the holes at this strange bald headed thing that mummy and daddy brought home with them 4 months ago.

we have finally brought jordan to have his first haircut on the 31st december at Sam's, Forum Galleria. I miss seeing him with his spiky hair and styling it into a mini mohawk!

My brother calls him his little dalai lama, but i can't decide if he looks more like a laughing buddah or a little dalai lama?

So much has happened since my post in December. i know, i know i have been terribly slack. But, during my family's 6 week visit, we were out pretty much every day and even managed to squeeze in a short trip to KL. Yes, it was Baby's first road trip!! Unfortunately his Australian passport wasn't ready so we scrambled to get him a Singapore passport in a week! The little munchkin now has 2 passports bearing his cute little mugshot!

On December 31st Jordan had his first taste of cereal. Although not yet 4 months, his increasing appetite was a sign that boob boob was simply not enough to fill his little belly. It has been more than a week now since his first taste of cereal and he loves it. An extremely impatient eater, he often tries to grab the spoon from me ensuring that half of the cereal lands on his face!

During the 6 weeks my parents were here we played dress up with Jordan, making him wear the 101 new outfits each day that my Mum had crammed into her suitcase and brought with her from Perth. One of my all time favourite outfits is this cute jacket with little ears on the hood. Awww....so cute!

Awww Gwandma and Gwandpa have gone home

Yes, the day i have been dredding has finally come! My folks and brother headed back home to Perth yesterday. The house feels awfully quiet and lonely now with just baby and me. Now I keep looking at the clock, just waiting for Khim to come home!

And boy does he know it!

I am not sure who is going to miss who more...Jordan's gonna definitely miss all the cuddles and kisses that Grandma plants on his chubby cheeks while Grandma is going to miss that delicious and irresistable gummy smile!

Me? I am going to miss all the help from having my Mummy around. Like just today, I actually managed to sleep in for 3 whole hours while Grandma entertained Jordi. Pure bliss!!

Hey, from this picture it looks like Daniel (my brother) and Jordi have the same hairstylist! So cute!!

His first belly laugh

Today Jordan had his first belly laugh!! Yep, I was tickling him and he let out a couple of cute little belly laughs. It was so cute!! I am such a proud Mummy!!!

I can't wait for my folks to arrive next wednesday! Grandma and Grandpa (as they would like to be called) will be coming to spend time with my little munchkin. Their first and only grandchild! Mum calls me practically every day to check on her little precious Grandson's progress. And to tell me she has bought another outfit for him. So spoilt already!!

SAHM - short for Stay At Home Mummy.

Yep, that's officially my new job title for the next year or so. I do miss working but mainly the interaction with other adults. BUT I do believe staying at home has its definite rewards, like when Jordan gives me this cute gummy smile! Or baby babbles when I talk to him. Sigh...gosh he is cute!

Wow, I am so glad that I went ahead and took pictures of me being pregnant. With about 1 week before my estimated delivery date, I decided to go ahead and take some professional photo's of the pregnant me! Just today I was going through some of the photo's and it was hard to imagine that just 5 weeks ago, this baby that I am now holding in my arms was actually inside my belly. BUT, I guess once you see the pictures and see how enormous my belly was, it aint that hard to imagine.

Anyway, thanks Carolyn from Havoc for the great photo's! Anyone interested to take studio photographs of themselves or family portraits, etc. you can call Carolyn on 91502556. She did a fantastic job and even managed to convince Khim to pose for a few shots as well!!!

Here's a picture of my little punk wearing his "Jesus is a Rockstar t-shirt".

Last night while trying to entertain the baby, Khim started playing some Linkin Park. It was such a cute sight to see Khim singing along and dancing in front of the baby's crib and then to see Jordan lying in his crib smiling and kicking his legs around - looking like he was really enjoying the music. But the funniest thing was as soon as Khim played some Brian McKnight he started to cry!

So I guess what they say is true. Babies do have some memory of being in the womb. Cos' while i was pregnant Khim used to always play, actually it was more like blast his Linkin Park cd.

Our Birthday Celebration!

I celebrated my 26th Birthday on the 16th September 2005, just 2 days after delivering Baby Jordan. Khim suprised both Jordan and I with a Birthday cake which we shared with Khim's older brother Jimmy and his wife Annie, my good friend Karen and some of the wonderful nurses on the 6th floor at Thomson Medical Centre (TMC).

Day 1- my milk has yet to come in so after a couple of hours of crying for food, Khim and I caved in and decided to give Baby Jordan some glucose water by a cup. Khim looks like a proud Daddy watching his son master drinking from a cup at only a day old!

Contented once he was fed, he was now happy to just lie in my arms and take in his new surroundings.

Each day more and more gifts and flowers poured in from friends and relatives. How would we possibly fit all of this in the car???
